Very successful peer-review website set up originally with Arts Council assistance. In my view this is the most helpful site in the UK for budding writers.
Authors On Show

A fairly new site, Authors on Show concentrates on promoting exciting undiscovered writing talent. Worthy of support from both readers and writers not least because, like many of the best organisations in this country, it is run entirely by a dedicated group of volunteers.
